A retail sales associate at Club Pilates plays a crucial role in promoting the studio and generating sales. Here are the primary responsibilities associated with this position:


Key Responsibilities


1. Sales Representation:

Represent Club Pilates to potential clients.

Bring new prospects and members into the studio.

Close sales effectively.


2. Lead Generation:

Execute a sales process including lead generation and follow-up.

Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quotas.


3. Facility Tours:

Conduct tours of the facility for prospective clients.

Establish relationships with potential members by addressing their needs.


4. Event Participation:

Engage in special events such as health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community activities to promote the studio.


5. Concierge Services:

Provide concierge-level service to current and potential members, assisting with inquiries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.


6. Reporting:

Assist the General Manager with lead management and reporting on sales activities.


POSITION:

The purpose of the Salesperson is to assist the General Manager with new membership sales and to ensure full studio functionality. This primarily involves lots of calls/texts to prospects, bringing new members to the studio with the intention of selling them a membership, and booking them into beginner classes. The Sales Representative also assists with retaining current members through excellent customer service, Private Training sales, retail sales, and membership upgrades. Full studio functionality refers to keeping the studio operating in the best manner to ensure the best customer experiences: clean, well-organized, and all systems functioning in good order. Pilates fitness knowledge or background is preferred but not required.

REQUIREMENTS:

· At least 1 year of outside sales experience; fitness or membership sales experience preferred

· Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required

· Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training

· Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system

· Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday

· Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email

· Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Must have proficient computer skills

· Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close

· Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants

· Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production

· Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider

· Present available services to current or prospective members

· Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota

· Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club

· Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills

· Other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION & PERKS:

· This position offers a very competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
